About me
Professional Knowledge With a Personalized Approach
My name is Iryna Buialska. I am an IAT Certified Trichologist, rehabilitation trichologist, cosmetic formulator and founder of LAVKA Natural Cosmetics in Burnaby, British Columbia.
My professional background combines medical education, practical psychology, cosmetic formulation and specialized education in trichology.
I completed my professional training through the International Association of Trichologists and additional clinical training in Canada under the supervision of an experienced IAT Certified Trichologist.
I consider visible symptoms together with medical history, previous illnesses, hormonal changes, stress, nutrition, medications, family history and hair-care habits.
My goal is not simply to recommend a shampoo, but to help you understand what may be happening and what steps may be appropriate next.

Digital Trichoscopy
Magnified imaging helps assess hair density, shaft diameter, follicular units and visible signs of miniaturization.

You receive a clear care plan based on your individual condition, needs, lifestyle and budget.
Cosmetic Support
Home care, professional products and scalp procedures may be recommended when appropriate.
Medical Referral
When signs require medical diagnosis or treatment, an appropriate healthcare referral may be recommended.

Digital Trichoscopy
Trichoscopy helps reveal details that cannot be fully assessed with the naked eye. Findings are interpreted together with symptoms, history and the overall clinical picture.

- Do not wash your hair for approximately 24 hours
- Do not use dry shampoo
- Do not apply oils, serums or lotions directly to the scalp
- Do not use root-concealing products
- Bring a list of medications and supplements
- Bring recent laboratory results if available
- Note when the concern began
- Bring older photographs showing visible changes

In-person consultations are available by appointment. A complete assessment of hair loss and scalp condition usually requires an in-person examination and digital trichoscopy.
