LAVKA was founded by Iryna Buialska, an IAT Certified Trichologist and cosmetic formulator.
Her work combines an understanding of scalp and skin physiology with practical cosmetic formulation. This gives LAVKA a more thoughtful approach to hair and scalp care — one built around individual needs, careful assessment and suitable cosmetic routines.
Alongside developing LAVKA formulations, Iryna provides professional scalp analysis and digital trichoscopy consultations at our Burnaby location.

Botanical ingredients are an important part of LAVKA formulations. Our work includes hydrosols, plant extracts, macerates and cold-pressed oils selected for use in modern cosmetic formulas.
Some botanical materials are prepared in-house in small batches, giving us greater control over how they are incorporated into our products.
